Summary
"If I stood, I'd be soaked." The other man reached into the front pocket of his bag and pulled out a small bar of chocolate. When he saw Germany looking at it, he sighed, tore open the wrapping and tossed it across to him.
"Give me that." Catching it with ease, Germany turned it over in his hands and looked at the writing on it. "I thought you were saving these until Christmas."
"Considering our circumstances, it seems silly to hold onto things that will not help us." Austria took a piece of chocolate out and ate it himself, Germany only glared back at the gesture.

Summary
I was born a wretched child. Some of my earliest memories are of screaming and crying, ignoring my mother’s desperate attempts to make me quiet. Back then, I knew nothing of why she would not quench my desire for attention and affection, but now I understand. They had been trying to invade for many years- the Christians- and I led them straight to us.
