It all started like many stories shouldn’t – on a Reddit thread. Kara had been scrolling through her feed, laughing at videos of puppies and ogling photos of delicious looking hamburgers when a post came up that caught her attention. It was a picture of Supergirl wearing her skirt next to a picture of her wearing her new pants. The caption simply read, Thoughts?.

Lena makes explicit content and Kara happens to stumble across it.
This is a slow burn that's turning out to be more plot than smut (sorry, I really didn't intend that, it just kind of happened), so reader beware. It's more of a universe with alterations rather than an AU. I'll try to update tags as I go along. Updates are slow, but I promise I'm still working on it!

“Lena, is everything okay? You seem… Distracted,” Kara’s voice rang through the room, breaking the silence that must’ve fallen upon them sometime during Lena’s train of thoughts. “Yeah I- I’m okay, sorry,” Lena managed to reply, her throat suddenly uncomfortably dry as her gaze caught Kara’s and she witnessed the worry spreading across her features ever so slowly. “Lena…” Kara protested, but Lena only shook her head in return, dismissing Kara’s attempt at breaking down her walls. “It’s late, I should be going,” Lena half-smiled, rising from her seat on Kara’s couch. Confused at the sudden change in atmosphere, Kara rose to her feet as well, brow furrowed, but even if Kara knew Lena to be lying in the moment, she didn’t say, and Lena thanked the Gods above, because there was no way she would be able to explain the realization that had just hit her.
