Summary
Baby Debra was a blank slate; blinking innocently at him. Partially reassured, Dexter reached his hand out towards his new baby sister tentatively, as if any sudden movement would break her. As soon as he’d touched the tip of his finger against her soft little hands, she’d grasped ahold of him. His new baby sister had wholeheartedly grabbed his hand with pure trust in her eyes.
This is an excerpt from morgenkou and my fic "Staged," which is a rewrite of the season 4 finale. Since that work contains graphic, violent content we have decided to post this more "wholesome" part separately. Enjoy!
