Sasuke stays at Konoha for three days to watch over the compound while Obito's away from a mission with Kakashi, and while Sasuke was signing some paperwork with the help of Sakura and Naruto, they stumble upon something strange. A marriage certificate of a certain someone that has their sensei's name written in on it

Summary
The funeral is… quiet. It’s a dreary affair, culminating not in a casket lowered to the ground but in a name etched into lifeless stone.
Uchiha Obito.
Few people come, in the end, most of them those who remembered Obito from the academy and felt bad, or who came to reckon in horrified whispers with the idea that someone could die so young.
Dying is a distant thing, for their former classmates. Ridiculous and strange, something only the adults do. They’ve been at war their whole lives, and it is Uchiha Obito’s death that shatters that illusion of safety.
Others come to gawk. Uchiha with little relation to him come to frown and tut, to say that well, it really is a shame, and that’s what happens when you send the talentless on important missions.
Kakashi wants to feel angry, to scream and shout and hit. He mostly just feels numb.

Summary
Obito stands above the corpses of his teammates, unseeing eyes attempting to comprehend the way the blood pools and coats them.
“Oh,” he says, voice strangled and hoarse from disuse, “I get it. I’m in hell.”
He sinks to his knees beside them, pulls Kakashi—Kakashi’s corpse —towards him. Cradles it, as if that will change anything. Grasps at Rin’s pale hand, still-warm but far too limp, far too sticky with her blood to be anything but that of a corpse.
He looks at her, face lax and losing color already, and his first thought is Kakashi’s fault . But no, he thinks, that isn’t right. Because the devastation on Kakashi’s face, the way he’d sunk to the ground with her, hadn’t even tried to dodge the enemy’s blade— “I’m sorry, Obito. Y’ shouldn’t’ve saved me…”
One of the Kiri nin lets out a groan behind Obito, and a part of Obito relishes in the way he screams as Obito’s mokuton destroys him.
