Summary
Omega looks away from the supposedly intimidating painting, looking at the beads of wax clinging to life as the pillar candle slowly burns down. Candles, he figures, are much like humans. Burning fast, hot and then unable to cling as the oxygen is withheld.

Summary
Dewdrop has never really been one for words.
The poet of the pack was Swiss, and the reader Aether. Rain knew lyrics, and Mountain knew extraordinary adjectives that would make any English teacher weep. Cirrus was a marvel of meaning, Cumulus a walking dictionary. Sunshine could write novels, and of course, honorary packmate Copia was the ‘big Mac daddy’, as he called it, when it came to constructing sermons and hymns to control the masses.
And Dew… Well, he just kind of swore and battered his hands, and people understood.
