    Izuku Midoriya. Deku. His Hero. He’s right there, in the middle of the gym -- floating?! -- and gathering the attention of everyone in the room. Only Rody’s fast reflexes keep Pino from shooting off and smothering Deku with all the affection she’s capable of giving. Gosh, Rody has to admit that he really, really missed Izuku. (Though you won’t catch him saying that outloud, probably.)

    “Midoriya, come down,” says a scruffy-looking man, with weird bandages around his neck.

    “I…” Deku laughs nervously, hand coming up to scratch the back of his neck, “I can’t.”
