“(L/N)?” Date softly called out your name, causing you to stop in your tracks and your head to immediately snap back to him. His frown was still present, which made you feel worse for your attitude. It wasn’t his fault. “I miss you.”
You must have sat there and processed his words slower than a snail’s pace, because that caused him to look even more guilty. Before he could say anything else, your last brain cell finally got the hold of you, managing to quickly save yourself from the awkward situation. “I miss you too.”
