Joshua wanting to be with Neku so badly that he slips up and lets himself be real and fallible around him is just so!! Good!!! Neku and Joshua are uncomplicatedly funny, snippy, and full of feelings about (and for) each other in this fic. Yeah. It's good.

So many excellent, excellent things in this fic. Special shoutout to the cameo by Shuto Dan!! Him and Joshua just vibing on the same wavelength despite their completely different personalities is absolutely fantastic and such a natural extension of their interactions in TWEWY. I also really enjoyed Neku snarking at Joshua over text, and his narrative voice throughout this fic is written wonderfully. Post-Shinjuku Neku fic are always great to read, and this one is just pure fun, from start to finish. Love it.

Yozora looked like he was operating on no hours of sleep and suffered diminishing returns on coffee consumption. Fuel went in the tank but the engine was broken. His body moved faster than his brain and now that he stayed still he wasn’t much of a threat.
Although he did have silver hair.
“Are you evil?” Sora asked.
People with silver hair in Sora's life had been varying levels of evil. It didn’t hurt to check.

What a great depiction of Yozora. From Sora's observations of him to the dry, tired affect to his voice, I just adore him in this fic. Sora's struggles with unreality are so evocative here, and that ending... it definitely got me thinking.
