Silco had never expected to take in a child, but then again, life always had a way of not turning out the way he planned it to. Powder, now going by Jinx, had never expected her sister to leave her. It’s going to be a difficult adjustment for the both of them, but Silco is sure that he sees potential in her; sees parts of himself in her.
However, when you have an 11 year old daughter who is actively learning how to build bombs in her spare time, mishaps are bound to happen, and Singed has decided that he really can’t be wasting time in patching Jinx up every time she hurts herself. Sylvestr doesn’t expect criminal kingpin Silco to come stalking into his makeshift clinic on the edge of the Lanes at gone midnight but he can hardly turn down the crying girl who’s clinging to him. And so begins a very tentative and difficult relationship between a new father, a traumatised daughter, and the doctor who had given up on family a long time ago.
