The hand is back on his face. Not his mouth now, just up the side of his neck, and the Doctor is rubbing his thumb along the long edge of Harry’s jaw. His palm is hot and Harry swears he can feel the double pulse against his own, surely leaping in his skin. “Harry,” the Doctor says sincerely, “I want to have another whisky. Then, I want you to have another whisky. Then, I want to have you. Do you object?”

Summary
“Oh, dear,” Harry says as the Doctor bounds away, leaving nothing but powdery sugary fingerprints on the library door. His eyebrows are knotted and Sarah wants to put her thumb there to smooth out the crease. “Do you think he’s annoyed?”
Sarah considers for a moment, which means she also gets to enjoy the feeling of Harry’s thumb through one of her belt-loops. “No,” she says, “And if he is, I’ll speak to him.”
“Shouldn’t I be talking to him?” Harry turns pink under her enquiring look as Sarah wriggles off his lap, “I mean - man to man, sort of thing, if I kissed his lady?”
“Harry,” Sarah says sweetly, and takes his chin between finger and thumb, giving him a good shake, “Firstly - I am not anyone’s lady, the Doctor’s or yours.” She makes him nod agreement. “Good, good. Secondly, what on Earth makes you think I haven’t stolen his man?”

“Your Majesty?” Zuko startled as Captain Ming leaned over just beside him. He inwardly winced, guilty. “I understand we were dismissed but—we’ve been looking everywhere for you.”
“No worries, Captain,” he said, gaze drifting again to Sokka, who sipped his goblet carefully, a plate of food untouched in front of him. Their gazes met for the briefest of moments before Zuko forced himself to look away, to stop remembering. “Just catching up with an old friend.”

Finding staff for his palace had been nearly impossible. As it was, Zuko knew he had too few guards stationed around the palace and that the head cook was still understaffed. Not that anyone had told him these things, of course, which led to his second problem concerning his staff—no one spoke to him. Ever.
His people looked at him and saw his father.
