Summary
The world has ended and Five arrives soon after, moving to put his siblings to rest. With the flames surrounding him and the weight of their deaths on his shoulders, he begins to lug his siblings one by one to their too shallow graves. Only, Klaus wakes up mid dragging and both Five and Klaus struggle to piece together the puzzle that is the cause of the apocalypse.
Or, yet another Klaus and Five in the apocalypse with a bit more time travel than strickly necessary.

Summary
March 24th, 2019. After the death of their father, the Hargreeves siblings gather at their old family home for a funeral. When things get off to a rough start with thinly-veiled accusations of patricide and old resentments bubbling up to the surface, the siblings split to different corners of the house to cool off separately. And somehow, in the middle of the impromptu dance party that follows, Klaus and Ben are the only ones to notice their long-lost brother has just appeared outside in the courtyard after a seventeen-year absence.

Canon divergent AU that covers Season 1 on the premise that Five's return does not go as anticipated, and in order to prevent the coming apocalypse he must rely on Ben, who is determined to help even if he is just as helpless as Five, and Klaus, who is somehow less useful even though he can actually interact with the world.

Taken his bag and left, gone somewhere else, perhaps back to America and the remains of his mortal life? There was no note, nothing about needing to go and talk to mortal agents or return back swiftly. Nothing that indicated that their tryst had come to a swift end, other than…
Perhaps Armand had pushed their activities a little enthusiastically and he’d been falling asleep or taking a variety of substances to artificially energize himself. There had been more discontent lately, more drinking, more experimentation with substances in a way that suggested it was not necessarily for pleasure or energy but for escapism.
Daniel is missing from the flat and Armand has a minor crisis about it.

Summary
Having escaped the apocalypse of 2019, the Hargreeves find themselves in 2002, trapped in their thirteen-year-old bodies. Desperate to prevent the end of the world, Five will stop at nothing to ensure the bomb inside Vanya never goes off, but in doing so, he ignores the one ticking right next to him.

Klaus lost the love of his life, got sober, found out he's (kinda) immortal, survived the apocalypse, and turned 13 (again), and was enlisted into saving the world against his will (again) all in one week. When his siblings designate his role in helping Vanya control her powers as distracting their psychotic Father by asking for extra training, he doesn't fight it. He would do anything to help his sister. And maybe learn to control his own powers in the process.
Too bad time travel is a bitch, and his Father a true crazy bastard.

It didn't take a leap of intellect to then infer that Number Four was the weakest link of the five.
