Her favorite human has a baby growing in him. Soba could smell it on him, even before he started rushing to the bathroom after breakfast in the morning and complaining to the other human about his food suddenly tasting different.
(Weird, he’d said, his nose scrunched not unlike how Soba scrunches hers, and the other human had called him a spoiled little princess.)

What he really wants, of course, is to sit in Bakugou’s lap. Just for a moment. Held steady. And wanted there. In his mind he imagines being rocked from side to side and he feels guilty for even taking the fantasy that far. When it isn’t his to have, not really.
Then Bakugou leans forward and he’s in Shouto’s space and he’s hugging him. Shouto didn’t realize he’d been so tense before it happened but the tension dissipates the moment Bakugou’s arms are around him.
“Thank you.”
“Shut. Up.”
