Summary
Like most things, Izuku didn’t particularly want to start his career as a vigilante. In the same way he didn’t want to go to school every day to quirkist teachers, or how he didn’t want to be the victim of bullying and assault daily, oh, and he especially didn’t want his mom to run off and abandon him.
But, there are laws and there are legalities, and in this day and age in Japan, his quirk status leaves more wiggle room than should be allowed.
vigilantism had a similar situation. The laws stating something along the lines of: ‘a person, or persons, who is caught practicing unauthorized quirk usage for heroic acts, disregarding self-defense, will be prosecuted and may be fined up to-‘. Yeah, yeah, blah blah, the important part there is ‘quirk usage’, and fortunately (or unfortunately) that didn’t apply to Izuku.

Or, an author who’s tired of unrealistic fics where a teenage vigilante is trying to keep too many secrets, and decided to write one for themselves.

Summary
What if everything was different? Not by a lot, just the little things. For example, Midoriya Izuku went to a school trip and got bit, or he walked away from Allmight. Most importantly, he becomes his own hero with his new powers.
This boy, hurt and broken, will find a boy, a cat, then a family; and we will bring the world together with his fixed heart.
He doesn't forget his past, his broken pieces that are scattered and is now a lost puzzle. No. However, he does grow from it, and become stronger and better.
Will you join him on his trip on being the worlds best vigilante turned to worlds numbered one hero.

Or, Midoriya Izuku gets bit by a radioactive spider and becomes a hero. He will. Even if he takes the long way.

Summary
The surrounding buildings are illuminated by the scarlet glow of lamps strung above, hazed by a soft mist. Both ends of the street are consumed by the fog, giving the illusion that it goes on for infinity. Lines of shops sit on the edge, and Wei Wuxian makes out odd trinkets being sold.
A thought slams into him, threatening to topple him over again once he’s on his feet. Nothing hurts, the pain is gone. The injuries he’d had just seemed to vanish.
When he looks up he’s taken aback by the startling sight of a boar glowering over him. No, not a boar he realizes on second glance, but a large muscular man with a boar head.
He makes a sound like a low pig snort, “Puh- damn new ghosts.”
