    In an alternative universe where Wilhelm is still born in Stockholm but not anywhere near the palace gates, in a regular hospital room to a pretty regular set of parents and a pretty regular big brother, the Swedish monarchy is someone else’s responsibility to uphold and protect. Instead, Wilhelm’s top concern at the moment is his best friend Simon, who he has been hopelessly in love with for the better part of two years, ever since they met in their Intro to Political Science class.

    The only flaw Wilhelm has ever been able to find in Simon Eriksson is his goddamn boyfriend.

    Imagine his surprise when he wakes up one morning to texts from Henry implying he should maybe, just maybe, consider asking Simon why he’s dating Markus in the first place, because an apparently viral reddit post by someone sounding suspiciously like Simon published last night on r/AmItheAsshole seems to imply Simon’s been living under the assumption that Wilhelm is very, very straight for the last two years

    Simon is very, very wrong.

    Rhaenyra and Laenor both knew the backlash that would undoubtedly occur should they not have a trueborn heir of their own, likely courtesy of the Hightowers. So they get...creative. Harwin very much enjoys laughing at both of them.

    (A cup and funnel, a turkey baster, they'd tried it all. Things finally worked out when Harwin offered to help them. Jacaerys is born with silver-blond hair and the same lilac eyes as his mother.

    Alicent...still has feelings about Rhaenyra's sons that most certainly do not stem from jealousy, thank you very much.)

    In a galaxy where the Force has crafted soulmates for the people who live in it, there are also sacred guides that appear to guide two lost souls together to seal their soul bond with a fated kiss.

    Unfortunately, the guides are also loud, feathered, and will bite you. The guiding experience is not particularly pleasant.

    Anakin and Padmé's mornings both become much more exciting when they each wake up to pairs of horrible geese hell-bent on leading them to their soulmates. Obi Wan's already been kidnapped for a couple of days, so two geese manifesting in his cell isn't as big a deal.
