Summary
Suo shouldn’t have been surprised. He should’ve expected this. Kiryu was sharp; he understood things too quickly. Suo couldn’t blame him if he’d seen through the secret.
Because at least… at least it was Kiryu standing here now—
“It’s Sakura-chan, isn’t it?”
—Not Sakura.
Suo’s footsteps stopped dead.
Kiryu vioce was soft, the eyes looking at him were full of emotions he couldn’t read.
Suo forced the feelings tightening around him down, down, down—then offered a smile tinged with guilt.
“It can’t be helped.”
He’d fallen in love with that boy.
Kiryu’s eyes filled with pity.

Summary
Koibumi; A love letter. A way to express things privately before a face-to-face confession.
Suo writes a love letter for Sakura on Valentine's Day. It’s very carefully worded, designed to not overwhelm his beloved class captain- and really, even if it's only taken as a sign of teasing friendship, Suo believes he’d be okay with that. He’ll know what it means after all.
Staring down at the torn up paper, he’s not quite sure what to do with such a childish urge to cry.

Summary
He didn’t like the humidity.
He didn’t like the rain.
He didn’t like how the classrooms turned sticky and sour-smelling afterward.
He didn’t like the clouded skies, the rumbling thunder, or the heavy darkness that followed.
Sakura was right.
It wasn’t so peaceful today after all.Bookmarked by hachimato

Summary
“Suo-san,” Nirei’s voice quivered. “Suo-san, who…who did that to you?” He brought a hand up to his own neck, shakingly touching it to demonstrate what he was referring to.
For a split second, something else passed through Suo’s gaze. Surprise? Or maybe…fear?
Suo quickly straightened himself, taking a step back as he fixed his scarf back into place, covering his neck once again. His gaze drifted to the side, staring down at the ground as if it had personally insulted him. “I told you, Nire-kun.” There was a trace of dismissive anger in his voice. “It pisses me off, the way you question every detail.” His lone eye shifted to peer down at Nirei, that cold glare returned again. But there was something more to it this time, something hiding under the surface.

Summary
He didn’t move. He just kept thinking about it—the first thing Suo had taught him, when he’d wanted to learn how to fight.
If you looked away, you’d miss your opponent’s next move. You’d never be able to tell the difference between a punch and a fake out. Facing someone head on meant that sometimes you’d take a hit, sure, but if you flinched, you’d always take a hit.
Suo had told him this, and then promptly demonstrated it for his benefit.
…As far as punches to the face could go, Nirei had to admit it had been remarkably gentle.
