Summary
When Crowley was overthrown by a revolt in Hell, he and his angel Castiel were separated by more than distance.
Castiel had ripped out his grace and turned human, and after a sequence of events he found himself in Hell, getting torn apart on the rack under another's reign, changing who he was at his very core.
Now, with many long years and a war behind him, Crowley is back on his throne and Hell is in one piece.
