Summary
The Jade Chamber plunges from the sky.
It’s falling like a lone snowflake, and time grinds to a halt. Beidou’s limbs keep themselves frozen. Her heart beats louder, louder, thunderous in her ears. She can hear it clearly over the lightning that shakes the sea. The very sea from which Osial mournfully rears all five of its heads, looking up at its eventual doom. Its skin flashes a bioluminescent blue with each clap of the lightning-thunder combo that Beidou has grown quite accustomed to out in the treacherous ocean.
The Chamber—or what was left of it—melts into the relentless waters. The urgency in her builds.
