At first, Buck squints and checks again. Then he frowns. “Is that… are you wearing an earring?”
Eddie glances up mid-sip of his juice, like Buck just asked him whether grass is green. “Yeah?”
“Since when?”
Eddie shrugs like it's nothing. “Couple days ago.”
“A couple days? And you didn’t say anything?”
“It’s not that big of a deal, Buck. It's just an earring.”
Buck makes a choked sound, gestures wildly. “It’s a big deal! You don’t just suddenly get your ear pierced without—” He stops himself, flailing mid-thought. “I dunno, this just isn't like you. Making impulsive decisions... That's my thing!”
Chim snorts into his drink. “Wow. Jealous, much?”
Or, Eddie gets a piercing, Buck is normal about it
