    Mob lived.

    And it did something irreversible to his mental. With the last possible option having already failed, and nothing worse to back it up with - Mob was truly, and unforgivably stuck. It started something sickening in him, a need to keep the peace and appease Verity, to take the path of least resistance again and again, to dig himself so deep into this hole, he wouldn't be able to remember where he started. The memory issues he started having after he tried to blow his brains out helped with that part too.

    AKA a long-term playout, stockholm psychological horror fic.
