Summary
The difficulty with dogs, Lin Shu reflects, is that they require a great deal of planning.
Lin Shu has a plan, of course. He has a checklist, a timetable, an itemized list of paperwork and veterinary considerations. He has a car currently filled with toys, dishes, food, and other necessities. He has a network of enlisted helpers to assist him with all of the more challenging tasks. None of that is an issue.
No; the real difficulty with dogs, he amends, is Xiao Jingyan.
