You’d think being a pet groomer would spare you from dealing with the nutballs of society since you spend the majority of your time around animals, but no. Because those animals are paired with their owners, and sometimes those owners are real pieces of work.
Like this guy. Subong’s found himself trapped in the middle of some kind of staring contest that he does not remember signing up for. The guy is just standing there, holding his cat close to his chest like he’s afraid Subong is going to snatch it from him and looking at him with wide, saucer-like eyes—pretty saucers, Subong’s mind unhelpfully supplies—in lieu of the typical hello, how are you that usually accompanies standard human interaction.

Subong encounters an absolute freak at his job. The freak, however, is very hot, and has a very cute cat. Subong's kind of desperate to get his number.
