Summary
These things don’t happen overnight, he knows. It would be lovely if they did, but even for the healthiest of people it can take time. And Wei Wuxian is… well. At least he's doing better now. The body that Mo Xuanyu had given him cannot be said to have been well cared for, the years of abuse and neglect had visibly taken their toll. For all that it shows in his narrowed frame and easily bruised skin, he knows there are more scars that are not visible to the eye.
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji set out to fulfill a dream that Wei Wuxian has kept close to his heart for longer than he'd even realized.
It is much harder than either of them expected.
