Summary
Rou Shirakawa was supposed to be Japan’s next MotoGP champion. A prodigy in red and white leathers, trained by his mother, obsessed with perfection. But after the crash, the one that took her life and everything else with it, Rou explodes on the track and ends his own career in one hell of a meltdown. Sponsors drop him. Fans turn. The media calls him the Rabid Prince. And the motorsport world is happy to forget him.
Until a desperate F2 team gives him a seat.
No formal team. No budget. Just a twitchy car, a little pit crew of high school interns, and the open track.
Rou doesn’t care about winning. Not at first. But something strange starts happening between crashes and podiums, between silence and engine noise. Something that feels dangerously close to joy. Like falling in love with the sport all over again.
