Geonwoo and Minhyung seemed to gravitate towards each other. Far from fully relaxed in each other's presence, but there was … something. Hidden grins in the gym, stilted conversation in the kitchen and then that whole thing on the couch.
When they all sat down together in the lounge, they of course ended up right next to each other. Yes, mid and bot always sat that way, but still. The mood was much more relaxed at that point and the producer prompted some banter that ended with Hwanjoong kind of challenging Geonwoo to prove that he wasn’t uncomfortable around Minhyung. It could have been a normal-ish handshake, a slightly inelegant beginning of a friendship, but their smiles looked just a little too fond and neither let go immediately.
If Jinhyuk hadn’t already suspected something, that moment would’ve probably done it. He leaned back into the couch cushions, watching the two, laughing along with the rest.

Jinhyuk found himself watching Geonwoo watch Minhyung. There was a level of fondness in his eyes that was almost painful to witness from the outside. It was the look of a man who was completely, utterly smitten. And then Minhyung said something and Geonwoo would laugh, face split in half by the widest grin, like he had just heard the best joke of all time. Jinhyuk didn't even try to suppress his own smile.
Oh, come on, he’s not THAT funny, Geonwoo! You’re so down bad it’s hilarious.
He was honestly just glad that he wasn't in Coach Mowgli’s shoes - sharing a dorm with these two "lovebirds" was going to be an exhausting exercise in patience and third-wheeling. He hoped for Jaeha’s sake that the walls were soundproof.

Geonwoo seemed calm and kind enough in interviews and in the few passing interactions they've had over the years. Minhyung would honestly call him sweet if it wouldn't feel like a ridiculous descriptor for such a buff alpha.

It's a poor consolation prize for the spot he really wants to sink his teeth into, but at least Minseok moans for him so prettily and his scent flares so sweetly. His mouth yields and opens to let Minhyung’s tongue in, and for the briefest of moments Minhyung dares to hope that this kiss can be enough.

Maybe that’s why meeting Minseok had been such a whiplash. He’s got the right look for an Omega, of course — a pretty face with soft eyes and full lips. He’s small and sort of dainty too, and Minhyung’s Alpha preens with pride whenever he sees how easily his hand envelops Minseok’s own. On the surface level, his personality aligns with that of an Omega as well — he likes cute things and is supportive and caring to people around him, and he smiles and laughs so brightly whenever he’s in a good mood, a natural sort of sweetness of a homemaker. But knowing Minseok for as long as he has and working with him in a professional setting as his closest partner, Minhyung knows that Minseok’s personality goes way beyond that. Because Minseok, for all his softness, can be sharp and curt and cruel when the stress of the competition really gets to him. He is assertive and smart and authoritative whenever he makes in-game calls, and he’s fiercely ambitious and prideful in a way that Minhyung’s childish idea of an Omega never had any space to be.

What would happen if he invited them for another match? And what if he didn’t? If he left it like this, he might never get to play with this incredible, amazing, flawless support again. Sure, he might see them on the enemy team someday, forced to play against them while silently comparing every support he gets to Keria.
But wouldn’t it be awkward if he did send an invite and they didn’t accept? Or if they’d already started another match? Tsk. It would’ve been easier if they’d just been average, because 3 a.m. Lee Min-hyeong is apparently a doomer. Just as he’s about to close the game, resigned to never seeing this Rakan again, the game pings.
