Unbearable cold seeped through Wonbin’s bones, latching onto his nerve endings and numbing his sore shoulder. He blinked slowly, his mouth dry and his head gripped with a nauseating migraine. He rolled to his front and moaned, no different than the winter breeze whistling through the aged windows, a testament to his bruised ribs. He braced his hands against smooth marble and pushed with the pads of his fingers until he could sit on his knees. His nostrils filled with his own metallic scent, slowly reminding him of the events of the past few hours. He smoothed his hands down his cotton shirt, the scarcely illuminated space around him dated and hostile. Pulling himself on two shaky legs, he began to wander, wall to wall.

Summary

Summary
