Young Keigo tells himself he’s being normal.
That during one of his lessons, he saw Cale Thames in a magazine and got stuck on those tired eyes that looked too familiar. He calls it “appreciating art” not the tight, warm feeling in his chest.
Then Cale started acting, and Keigo quietly reshaped his week around the show. Low volume. After training. Memorizing scenes the way he memorizes drills. Letting the Commission think it’s discipline, not devotion.
And now he just happens to be “late” to the hero convention he promised he’d attend, but there’s a press tour in the same building, at the exact perfect time, and leaving would be wasteful.

For me. The worry in his face is for me.
Matoba pushed himself up into a sitting position; Natori removed his hand, but only to help him up. "I'm alright..."
"No you're not." Natori's face was swimming in and out of focus now; perhaps Matoba should've stayed down. "You don't even realise you've been calling me by my first name, do you..?"
Or: Matoba collapses after an exorcism, and Natori brings him home.
