"... Ella. I'm serious," Dan cut in, maniacally waving a full manila envelope in the air in front of them. "Lucifer is the **actual** Devil and I can prove it!" slamming the folder on the table like a scene in one of his favorite action movies.
I've seen fics where Chloe is a detective and figures it out, where Ella is a scientist and figures it out - now it's time for Dan to be a detective as well. Now he just has to convince Chloe and Ella to believe him.
