Summary
A body could mean possible loot; a jacket, weapons, food, water… the thought of warmth overtakes Niragi and he slides his fingers into the slot between the handle and the door for the final time, eager at what might await inside.
And then his expression drops when his eyes focus on the figure in front of him, shapes adjusting into his vision in the dark. That awfully familiar jacket–Fuck.

Summary
Niragi’s expression is somewhat harsh, yet his gaze is soft, relative to Chishiya’s at least. Niragi reaches his hand up to his face, hovering over Chishiya’s, and for a split second his fingers rest on top of his. His hands are hot and clammy with sweat, longingly pressing against Chishiya’s until he sucks his lips into his mouth, gripping the hand on his cheek and placing it down next to him. Slowly, he shuffles away from the blonde, a still-bloody hand slicking his stray hairs back. He peers at the crimson littered along his fingertips, the red embedded in his fingernail beds.
Some things are just meant to stay the same.
