the room chills. jimin shivers. he wonders how much to say, how much to tell him. “someone i loved once,” he says. “then lost.”
“do you remember them at all?”
“no,” says jimin. his voice is centuries on centuries of regret. of longing. of looking. "but i know that i will know him when i see him. i have to. why else have i spent so long looking?"
(jimin is the god of travellers. taehyung mans the hearth. once upon a time, they loved each other. but that was a very, very long ago.)
