So, easily Nat pulls up in her car, music low, window cracked just enough to let the cold air slip in. Jackie slides into the passenger seat, heart thudding louder than she’d like. “Where to?” Nat asks, one hand draped loose over the steering wheel.
“I’ll tell you,” Jackie reassures, trying to keep the smile from taking over her whole face. “Just drive.” Nat arches an eyebrow but does it. No complaints. Just trust.

“Do you want to make out?”
Hazel’s eyes widen but don’t leave the TV screen as she takes the time to finish chewing the bite of food in her mouth. She chews for so fucking long, PJ’s eyes drilling holes into her as sweat starts to prickle uncomfortably on PJ’s skin. When Hazel finally fucking swallows, she turns to look at PJ with those wide, stupid eyes that tell PJ absolutely fucking nothing about what she’s thinking.

Jackie can't stop thinking about Shauna though and everything they had been through together, so with Shauna refusing to see her, she decides to write a letter every New Year's Eve to surmise her year and tell the love of her life just how much she misses her.
