Summary
Jungkook, recently promoted knight of the kingsguard, has his sense of duty tested by the wholly disarming royal consort, Jimin.
But the king is a jealous alpha, so jealous that by his orders the royal painter covers every inch of Jimin with gold paint, as a warning for no one else to touch him—lest he be smudged and the culprit executed for the crime. Jungkook is afraid, but not too afraid to disguise himself as an unpresented attendant and sneak into the baths to see Jimin.
