In another, Steve's just gotten Bucky back, and the Accords have been struck down. But the fractures the Accords caused haven't healed, and Tony has vanished from the face of the earth.
The problem? It's the same Steve. When he falls asleep in one life, he wakes in the other. Unless he can figure out which life is real, both are at risk.

“Exactly!”
“And I did! You told me, you said, you knew what you'd be giving up.”
“I didn't think it'd be him!”
He regretted the words as soon as they'd left his mouth.
Tony stared at him. Then he snorted, a spurt of mirth that devolved into laughter, almost giggling, too high pitched to be sane. He scrubbed at his face again, this time knuckling his fingers against his eye. “Of course. That does make more sense.”
