Summary
Mika runs all over Mondstadt looking for Lohen and his stolen notebook-slash-device based on nothing more than a gut feeling that something was going to go wrong, and is proven right. It's nothing he can't solve, but it does prompt both knights to say some things on their hearts.
Written based on the idea of pre-expedition Lohen and Mika (around 19?) going from Lohen stealing Mika's book (Lohen's profile) to "He treats me very well! (...) As for his practical jokes... once you get used to them, they're not so bad." (Mika, Version 6.2 event quest, before Lohen release)

A kind-of-sort-of rewrite of my other fic 'One Year'. It's a very similar concept but I actually didn't realise the similarity until I was about 20% in, because my strategy for writing this was the wonderfully strategic "We Ball" method.

Being the yapper she is, she tries to avoid falling in love at all costs. But of course, fate cannot be avoided.
Btw, in this fic, Fischl is 14 (pre-Summertime Odyssey, before Fischl, Kazuha and Xinyan went to the Immernachtreich-island) and Barbara is 15 :)

Kaveh realises it's the anniversary of his moving in to Alhaitham's house, and brings it up. The conversation that ensues prompts Kaveh to tell Alhaitham that he might be able to move out soon, and Alhaitham has certain feelings about that.
