Summary
Aerion "Brightflame" Targaryen, the sole omega child of Prince Maekar, is notorious for being difficult and unyielding, scorning every highborn alpha suitor who's crossed his path. With no other options, his uncle Prince Baelor presents an ultimatum: either he marries Ser Duncan the Tall, a former hedge knight turned sworn sword of Lord Lyonel Baratheon, or Aerion may well find himself shoved into a convent, powerless and forgotten, for the rest of his days. But Aerion is a dragon, and dragons do not suffer such indignities, and so he plots to run away...
... But perhaps Ser Duncan is not the lowborn brute Aerion imagines him to be.

Aerion looked this so called ‘knight’ over, “You don’t look like a knight I’ve ever seen” he sneered. “What are you? Some sort of peasant knight?” he asked looking over Dunk’s less than stellar appearance; taking in the dirt on his clothes and his rope belt. Dunk flushed and looked down “My name is Ser Duncan the Tall, I am but a hedge knight my Prince, I hope to enter this tournament to make a name for myself and in the end pledge my allegiance to a great house who would have me” Aerion laughed cruelly at his response “You do know what this tourney is truly about right hedge knight?”
TLDR: Aerion has been a little shit and in a final act of desperation his parents (Baelor and Maekar) decided that who ever wins the Ashford tourney will also win his hand.

Summary
The Dark Cacao Kingdom is cold, every citizen is well acquainted with the frigid temperatures. Frozen or freezing, the snow always remained along the mountains and cliffs. This cold, although not new, bothered one cookie in particular. Affogato cookie could deal with most temperatures, but when it dipped a bit too low, he must seek some help ‘warming up’ from a certain King.
(This is part of a series, you do not need to read the first part for context. In essence, instead of taking over the kingdom by tricks and manipulation, Affogato enters a political marriage to Dark Cacao.)

Was the satisfaction of revenge and power really worth all this? Unfortunately he asked that question too late. Moments before his wedding too late.
