Summary
When Arumi Senju gets resurrected once more, she plans on leaving Konohagakure to pursue a life of her own. Far from the people she once knew, and to seek revenge on the man who killed her years ago.
The only thing that went south is that the explosion from her resurrection alerted the military of the Hidden Leaf Village, triggering a whole cat-and-mouse chase that she lost and got captured in. Now she’s stuck. Not through physical force, but because of distant memories from her past that tie her back to the people of Konoha. The guilt and responsibility. The detachment and interest. And the love and hatred.
She still wants to run away: taking on a different name, a different appearance, and still trying to find that man. But a part of her thinks that maybe she’s not really meant to leave this world after all. Maybe, just maybe, she grew to love the people in it…
