    Tecchou draws back, furrowing his brows. “I know,“ he says quietly, letting his gaze trail over the dark shadows beneath Jouno’s eyes. “I know, but you just turned back into a human after being a vampire for five days. It’s okay to not be okay after that."

    Jouno’s eyelids twitch, his lips parting in surprise.

    “Jouno,” Tecchou says, and his voice wavers; barely noticeable but probably twice as obvious to Jouno’s ears. I’m sorry. I missed you. I was so afraid. “I’m glad you're back.”

    Or: Tecchou finds Jouno the moment he turns back and they have a long overdue talk about feelings (which they're both horrible at who are they kidding)
