Steve turns, feeling his heart fall out of his chest at the figure walking towards them. This has to be a dream. A nightmare— one that Steve has definitely had before.
Tony Stark walking towards them does not compute. Even with his eyes shrouded by orange-tinted spectacles, there is no mistaking that lopsided grin and casual strut onto the field even from a distance. Steve's head is swimming with questions. Tony holds so much notoriety right now that it would be near impossible to keep him transferring teams a secret, especially considering the team he would be leaving is owned by his own family.
(Aka, the fic in which Steve and Tony are rivals both off and on the baseball field— until they aren’t. And it’s also in the 90s, because why the hell not.)

This ff is so fucking good. I was drooling the whole way through -- Not in a lewd way, though. I just so happened to really like it,,, and I'm also a wee bit dumb. I love love love Marvin and Whizzer in school AU's, they make me implode with pure joy. Also Marvin being a bottom is so hilarious to me, considering the fact that it's also heavily implied in Falsettos. Bottom Marvin for the win! Also, I feel like Marvin and Whizzer would have curly hair.. Or.. At the least wavy hair. Something like that. They're Jewish.. don't most jewish people have at least a liiitttle bit textured hair? It would make sense if they did. Idk. Bottom Marvin on top.. or.. wait. On bottom? Something like that.
