    The death of Ketheric Thorm caught the attention of the chosen of Bane, Enver Gortash, and the chosen of Bhaal, Orin the Red. The original plan was to kill them both and take their Netherstones, but the two saw an opportunity. First, Gortash proposed an alliance, which you accepted. Now, Orin kidnapped one of your companions for leverage. She must have been watching you for a while to know you cared about your companions. You couldn’t just leave them to die, so you were going to have to kill Gortash whether you wanted to or not. Fortunately, you were a skilled assassin, and there were lots of ways to kill a man.
