“Tomo, what’s the date today?”
The air was becoming cooler with the onset of the early sunset, and the autumn wind blew maple leaves down from the trees above like a gentle rain. Kazuha wasn’t much for remembering the times or dates of things. Labels hardly meant much when it came to something as grand and immoveable as time. But today felt like a day he should have known what to call it. Even the wind seemed to agree with him. When it tickled his ears it seemed to whisper yes, what a fine day it is indeed.
