Carlos does his best not to stare, though it’s hard not to. Charles looks almost ethereal in her champagne dress. His valiant effort doesn’t go unnoticed by Claire, she subtly clears her throat.
"Ah, are you two here for the wedding as well?" Charles turns to them, eyes glimmering with excitement.
"Yes," Claire nods, pulling Carlos a little closer. He can't help but feel a twinge of amusement, because Charles won't bother to look at him twice. While Carlos on the other hand is trying hard not to stare at her.
