Summary
There is a mask, placed carefully over his face. Katsuki knows, in a bizarre way, what it’s made off. Wood and metal mixing together in a beautiful craftsmanship. The surface is simple in a rugged way, small intricate patterns adorning it here and there. There are no gaudy adornments, or mosaics, as that’s not who Katsuki is. It’s painted white, with ornate orange; swirls upon daub swirls decorate it, rough in its brushing.
It is mystical in a way, as if it has a life of its own. It doesn’t surprise Katsuki when it’s once lustrous garnish becomes ash smoke. The slow and burning blaze eating away at the once brilliant colour, leaving traces of ebony behind. It loses its shine; dull and matt replacing its glow.
That’s who Katsuki is.

Summary
He decides that’s the perfect moment to put his plan, which he has labeled as “affection-exploding-murder” — very eloquently, if he says so himself, because he’s going to murder the fuck out of Shouto with his explosive affection — into action.
Katsuki is already regretting this plan altogether when he decides to go with the most cliche and overused trope there exists in this day and age. The stretch-and-puts-hand-behind-shoulder trope. Katsuki can feel the heat creep up onto his face just thinking about it, cheeks burning a scarlet so fierce he could probably put Shouto’s fire to shame.
He’s certainly ready to kill a bitch right this moment.

Summary
One spring day, a tiny hand inside a bigger one, walking down a busy street. Curious eyes taking in his surroundings, the smell of the flowers vivid and fierce. A park full of kids, shyness that made a hand clutch the cloth of a dress, a bright and sun filled smile. Soft blond hair that bounced with every step, laughter filled with warmth.

Summary
His world was etched in charcoal, the shadows swallowing him in, lulling him into forgetting what the once vibrant hues of the sun felt like against his skin. The warmth of it no more than a vivid dream, replaced by the obliterating cold he felt deep in his bones, breaking his body into a million shivers. Monochrome painted his view, odd shapes and silhouettes all he could discern from his surroundings. The murky scent impregnated in the air was suffocating him, slowly eating at him like acid.
You should have known better than to come here, a sweet, melodic voice whispered in his ear. It felt strangely comforting, tugging at his heartstrings, an echo of an old memory. Trepidation thrummed inside him, a slowly ascending orchestra ready for the grand finale.
