Summary
Eri has no problems calling Aizawa and Yamada ‘Dad’ and ‘Papa’, respectfully. It took her only a few precious months to latch onto her new guardians with vigor; giving them those titles as easy as breathing. Yamada had cried the first time Eri called him Papa, and if Aizawa wasn’t practically allergic to tears, Hitoshi is sure he would have as well. Hitoshi supposes it’s easier for her. She’s never had any other figures (at least not good ones) to compare this to. So when faced with Aizawa’s and Yamada’s tender care, she was happy to accept them into that role.
It eats at Hitoshi, though. The name sitting on the tip of his tongue, burning in his throat, choking him with its refusal to slip out.
