Harry was screaming and throwing things and sobbing and rambling about the Bible, about Revelations and some big thing that was coming, and she was begging her mother not to get on a plane to come get her because it was going to crash.

The farmer inherits his late grandfather's farm, and with that farm comes a set of rules that must not be broken no matter what happens. At first, the farmer assumes his grandfather had gone senile in his old age; he very quickly learns that these rules were set for a very specific reason.
