Christopher’s excitement is barely contained as he makes his way down the hall, Eddie tailing close behind him. He opens the door for Christopher, who climbs up onto the bed and shakes Buck lightly.
“Get up, Buck!” He exclaims cheerfully, and Buck’s brows pinch together before his eyes open. A sleep-filled smile graces his face as he sits up, immediately hit with a Christopher hug which knocks the air out of him.
“Hey, buddy,” Buck says with a breathy chuckle. “What’s the occasion?” He asks, knowing full well what day it is.
