    Clara glanced behind her discreetly. She was sitting at the bar and chatting with the person behind it. "What about her?" she asked.

    "She's been looking over at you for the last half an hour," Amy smiled, "You should go say 'hi'."

    The migraines started in middle school. The first one left her vomiting in the school nurse's office with her jacket covering her eyes to block out the fluorescent lighting. At first, Fig didn't understand the look on her mother's face whenever she would need to come pick her up early from school or when she begged to stay home for the day. It only made sense after the first tips of her horns poked through her skin. After that, the migraines were the least of Fig's problems. It's hard for her to forget, though, on days when she wakes up feeling like she's been hit over the head with Gorgug's axe.
