Summary
Bruce Wayne, aging and alone in the hollowed halls of Wayne Manor, feels his life reaching its inevitable conclusion. His body, once unyielding, is a stranger to him now—aching, slowing, reminding him of every battle he has fought and every life he has failed to keep close. His children, the ones he once loved fiercely and raised in the shadows, have all left him, scattered and burdened by the wounds he could not heal and the battles he could not save them from. In a final act of reconciliation, Bruce resolves to bring them all back to the manor one last time, under one roof, to mend what has been broken, to share what has been left unsaid, and perhaps to find forgiveness before he leaves this world.
