   Summary

   Lance felt the knife tear through the length of his forearm before he even picked it up. Before he even got to his room. Before he and Blue reached the hangars. It wasn’t a last resort anymore; he didn’t even try to calm himself. He no longer named five things he could see, no longer stood under freezing water to jolt himself back to reality. The hollow feeling swept through him like a tide, deep and consuming, and he knew the only way to release it was the knife.
