Summary
The war is over, Voldemort is dead. But neither side won. Both are too depleted from the fighting. Instead, The Hogwarts accords birth two opposite factions:
1. Heritage, those obsessed with the old ways and values
2. Unity, those who value all magical humans regardless of background.
The elimination of muggles or those of a lesser perceived station would cease, But the traditions of Pureblood culture and roles would also be maintained. It is an uneasy truce, complicated by an old curse plaguing Pureblood society. No one is sure of the exact origin, but birth rates are low and 1 in 4 women die during pregnancy. The Heritage Council will do all they can to garner a growing population of Purebloods heirs and half-blood second class citizens. Unity is concerned but mostly unaffected since their members diversified the gene pool. That is until one their own is caught up in the Heritage Council's plans to combat low birthrates.Note this is my first fan fic, be kind and let me know what you think.
