Summary
Korra, I’m coming to the South Pole next month.
I know you asked for some space… but you also said you’d only be gone a couple of weeks and that you’d write us back, so forgive me for not taking everything you say at face value.
I do have some legitimate business reasons for visiting, but it would be a lie to say I couldn’t send somebody else if that was all it was. It’s been six months. I want to see you Korra. I hope you let me.
Yours,
Asami Satox

Summary
It should be impossible, the way Korra makes Asami feel more comfortable than she’s ever been and yet like a nervous school girl all at once. Maybe that’s why she’s so loath to tell Korra about her hobby. It’s been three months since they’ve been official, longer since they started seeing each other, and she still wants so badly for Korra to think she’s cool.

Summary
It takes every bit of strength Asami has to tear her gaze away from Korra and offer Beifong a small, polite smile. The woman looks the same as she did years ago, though the freezing hatred in her gaze has been replaced with hard-edged practicality. She knows the expression well: the look of a businesswoman prepared to close an unsavoury deal.
“Look, Sato,” Beifong says. “We need your help.”
