Slumped against the headboard, Reyna’s eyes were dazed and unfocused. Viper leaned in, their eyes level, and she tilted Reyna’s chin to the side, pressing a kiss against the hard metal muzzle that caged her dangerous canines, trying to calm the agitated alpha.
Reyna instinctively leaned up, trying to chase Viper’s lips, but the muzzle blocked her desperate attempt. Frustration made her eyes glisten, almost like a puppy abandoned in the rain.
Viper smirked, her breath ghosting over Reyna's skin.
“Look at you. Such a needy alpha, hm?” she murmured, her voice dripping with mock sympathy.
